The student accommodation market in India is characterized by an acute shortage of quality living spaces. There is an inherent bias against letting out accommodation to the student community. Student acco addresses the growing need for student accommodation in the country.
Studentacco, a students-only accommodation portal that brings different kinds of student accommodations like PGs and flats on one platform. Working as an online aggregator for quality furnished accommodation in the student community, Studentacco aims to facilitate an informed, swift and transparent transaction. Apart from listing verified accommodations, Studenacco also curates branded, ready-to-move-in, fully-furnished living spaces equipped with all the facilities. Close to universities and public transport, regularly maintained with arrangements provided for food, minimal paperwork and CCTV coverage that should ease the tensions of parents. Targeting the millennials, our task was to design the online and offline experience for the brand.
Student life is anything but boring! How do you create an identity for millennials whose likes and dislikes change everyday? We needed to talk to students in a language they understand and relate to. Leftover pizza, pending assignments, alarm clock, maggi, notebooks full of doodles and scribbles, coffee, piling laundry, dirty dishes and music are just some of the things that are a part of a student’s life. We adapted such objects into a unique brand identity system that is fun, dynamic and ever changing.

99 Problems But Living Ain't One.
Student life ain't easy. Suddenly from the comfortable cocoon of a house they’re thrown into the wild unforgiving world - Nagging professors, pending assignments, boyfriend who won’t reply to your messages, dad who refuses to fund your bike, autowallas who won’t go, discount coupons that won’t work, friends who never pay back. Wouldn’t it be nice if among these problems, we could eradicate one of them? The most important one? StudentAcco. No Worries. The launch campaign for studentacco is based around the first world problems that students face and relate to.

Branded accomodation is one of the core offerings of Studentacco that aims to raise the standard of student living in India by providing ready-to-move-in, fully-furnished living spaces equipped with all the facilities. Our challenge was to turn regular and mundane PG accommodations into a branded property by standardizing the look and feel, aesthetics while being cost effective and easy to maintain. To do this, we designed posters, cushion covers, coasters, coffee mugs, doormats, and even wall clocks that would make the space aspirational and fun for students.
