One of the fastest growing premium beer brands, Bira 91 has announced its foray into the Hard Seltzers category with the launch of ‘Grizly’ Hard Seltzer Ale. As young adults become increasingly health-conscious, the trend towards a healthier living has created a massive growth opportunity for the Seltzer category. 

Grizly Hard Seltzer Ales is masterfully twisted by master brewers. Just like a magical bear’s secret vault, Grizly seltzer is our treasure trove of carefully collected flavors. Local berries, seasonal fruits, spices and herbs are blended artistically by our expert mixologist to create a hard seltzer that is buzzy and bubbly. Perfect by themselves or on ice, grizly will surprise you with its bag full of flavorful tricks. Griz -griz!

Grizly is available in three flavors - Pineapple & Okinawa, Peach & Black Tea, and Blueberry & Rosemary. This flavour story is a major differentiator as well as selling point for Grizly.



Grizly turns creative drinkers into mixologists- what better mascot to represent this than a Grizly bear with an artistic personality. Multiple iterations were sketched during the exploratory stage to arrive at the right ‘mix’ of playful and imaginative. The Grizly bear is a purveyor of flavours and eccentricity.

Product Architecture

To create a clear visual distinction between high and low ABV - we assigned colours and crafted specific logo units for both.

4.5% ABV

Silver colour and the standard logo unit have been used in the low ABV flavour variants.


7.5% ABV

Gold colour as well as the Grizly ‘Gold’ logo unit has been used for high ABV flavour variants.
